Dutch-American soprano Sara Casey is an internationally active opera and concert artist, currently based in Vienna.

She completed her Bachelor of Music at the Oberlin Conservatory of Music and her Master of Music at the McGill Schulich School of Music. Between her academic studies, she worked professionally as an actress, including performances in the U.S. national tour of Arthur Miller’s The Crucible. This theatrical background continues to inform her nuanced musical storytelling and compelling stage presence.

Since relocating to Vienna, Sara has been engaged multiple times at the Wiener Staatsoper, including appearances in the world premiere of Olga Neuwirth’s Orlando and in Manfred Trojahn’s Orest. She regularly performs as a soloist in Vienna and Salzburg and remains active in the United States.
